Join friends and neighbors for a festive free event celebrating two public art projects: the youth-led Remembrance of Climate Futures/Arlington and There's No Place Like Home.
- Hear live music by the High School Honors Orchestra and Jazz Band
- Sample pizza from Za Restaurant and enjoy an art display.
- Meet the artists -- including high school interns who developed 23 "historic" markers with artist Tom Starr that imagine future events in Arlington. These are not your ordinary markers. They bring awareness to what could be our climate future, including real challenges and hopeful solutions.
- See Artist-in-Residence Kari Percival's whimsical posters designed to support local organizations working on community causes such as protecting the environment and ensuring food security, including Sustainable Arlington's Leave the Leaves poster and yardsign.
