Anna Fialkoff of Wild Seed Project will lead this presentation which is hosted by Merryspring Nature Center.

Who says lawns need to be monocultures or made only of grasses? Learn how to transform a backyard lawn into a rich tapestry of native plants, how to diversify the home lawn, transition lawns to meadows, and convert lawns to layers of native plants to create rich, wildlife-friendly spaces.

Fialkoff serves as Ecological Programs Manager at Wild Seed Project. She furthers the organization’s educational mission to inspire people to return native plants to the Maine landscape, and works with partners to demonstrate rewilding in action. She holds an MS in Ecological Design from the Conway School and a BA in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic. Anna brings with her a deep knowledge of native plant ecology, horticulture, conservation, and ecological landscape design.

This talk is part of the Online Spring Talk series at Merryspring Nature Center, sponsored by Camden Real Estate Company. Access to a computer or smart device is required to attend.
