Sustainable Arlington acts on a local level to promote climate stabilization and other important environmental goals.  We are a Town of Arlington Vision 2020 Environment Committee and a chapter of the Massachusetts Climate Action Network.

July 13, Arlington CCA Info Sessions at Senior Center, 1 pm and 6 pm

Two sessions at the Arlington Senior Center, 27 Maple Street on July 13th at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., will provide information about Arlington's new, town-wide electric service program.  It's a good deal for everyone. The automatic, basic service provides slightly more renewable energy for slightly less money than your current Eversource account.


Affordable Renewable Energy is Coming to Arlington

Can't put solar panels on your roof?  Wish you could still find a way tap into renewable energy?  You can with Community Choice Aggregation -- Arlington's new, town-wide electric service program, starting August 1.

Author, Paul Hawken, presents 100 approaches to fighting climate change and ranks their impact on achieving drawdown. Food waste is the 3rd most important climate change driver according to Hawken.

Boston March for Science*

April 22, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m

The Rally will take place on the Boston Common. Please see online event map for specific locations of the stage, booths, kids' corner, sensory break tents, and other information.

1-2pm: Music on the main stage.
2-4pm: Main rally with speakers and music at the main stage.

*due to anticipated crowd size, event will be stationary on the Boston Common with multiple areas and activities.
