Hosted by the Sustainable Transportation Plan Advisory Committee, the Department of Planning & Community Development, and Nelson/Nygaard Consulting Associates
The Town of Arlington will review draft strategies and recommendations for Connect Arlington, the Town's Sustainable Transportation Plan. All members of the Arlington community are invited to participate via video conference or by calling in by phone to the event both hosted by Zoom.
Based on the existing conditions data collected earlier in the year, and public engagement about various aspects of transportation in Arlington in spring and summer, strategies are being developed to prioritize short- and long-term actions for projects, programs, and policies to achieve the vision to improve the town's transportation system.
The Town is also seeking resident input and feedback on these strategies, priorities, and policies in a survey that is now available, and will be open until December 18.
This virtual form is hosted by the Sustainable Transportation Plan Advisory Committee, DPCD, and Nelson/Nygaard Consulting Associates. Links to the survey as well as the Transportation Factbook and a summary of public engagement from the past spring and summer can be found on the Town’s website: https://www.arlingtonma.gov/town-governance/boards-and-committees/sustainable-transportation-advisory-committee.
