Arlington EcoFest Power Day
Sunday, March 3, 2019, 1- 5 pm
Arlington Town Hall Auditorium
730 Mass. Ave., Arlington, MA
free
We'll be looking at energy use, efficiency and choices. The goal is to show Arlington residents practical things they can do right now to improve home and transportation energy efficiency, switch to renewable energy, and start planning for the next steps to take on the path to a clean energy future.
Children's Concert with Diane Taraz, 1:30 pm
- Home and transporation energy efficiency and technology
- State & local programs to help residents take advantage of the many related opportunities.
- Are you a renter or homeowner?
- Are you just starting to think about LED light bulbs, energy vampires, home insulation, and cleaning heating and cooling options, or have you already done these?
- Wherever you currently (pun intended) sit on the home energy performance spectrum, there will be something for you at EcoFest.
CALL FOR ENERGY AMBASSADORS: EV OWNERS
Weather permitting, we'll feature some local electric car owners with their cars to tell you firsthand about their ownership experience and answer your questions. In case of bad weather, this event will be rescheduled to Arlington EcoFest Earth Week in late April. If you have an electric car and experience that you would like to share at this event, please use the "contact us" button on this website.
CALL FOR ENERGY AMBASSADORS: HOME PERFORMANCE
Would you like to be a home performance ambassador at EcoFest? You could be, if you have installed one or more of these in your Arlington home: air source heat pump heating and cooling (either mini-splits or the ducted type), ground source heat pump heating and cooling, solar hot water, or advanced wood heating.
