ARLINGTON HIGH SCHOOL DESIGN
An Informal Project Information Session
To Answer Your Questions
Hosted by Sustainable Arlington
Featuring AHS Building Committee Members
Wed., March 13, 7-8:30 pm
The new high school building design is taking shape.
A town-wide vote on June 11th is needed for the project to move forward.
Ryan Katofsky chairs the Building Committee's Sustainbility Subcommittee, and is a longtime Sustainable Arlington member. He says "Sustainability is an inherent part of the new building's design and we have set some aggressive goals, among which are to make this building very energy efficient and fossil fuel free. We will also be improving access to the Minuteman Bikeway, improving bicycle parking, adding more solar energy to the site, and preparing for an electric vehicle future."
